Wall Coat Rack 2850 series

Designed in response to a comment by a participant in an NIDC forum that there was no available coat rack of contemporary design. Designed in 1956. NIDC design award 1959.
Featured were the articulated joints allowing variation in shapes. Finished in black enamel, polished or satin chrome. Knobs in natural woods with satin clear lacquer coating (Never made with multi-coloured knobs as sometimes published ). Shipped with expansion plugs for panel or masonry mounting using knob and axle member as tool. Sold in 3 knob, 5 knob and 7 knob versions. Supplied in continuous lengths for many institutional sites.
Consumer packaging was designed by Stewart & Morrison.
