Soft Seating
Tub Chair 1148, c.1960

This three legged tub chair allowed for uneven floor and provided the comfort of traditional seating without the bulk. The frame was assembled by springing the encircling member thereby locking it in place over grooved pins at the top of each leg. A light gauge steel shell helped reduce the weight of the chair without sacrificing strength.
